How we report, verify, and correct our journalism.
Plug TV Kenya is committed to journalism that is accurate, fair, and independent. These standards guide how our newsroom operates.
Accuracy
We verify claims before publishing wherever possible, and we clearly distinguish between confirmed facts, attributed claims, and analysis.
Sourcing
We prefer named, on-record sources. Where a source must remain anonymous — for example, to protect someone from retaliation — we explain to readers why anonymity was necessary.
Independence
Our editorial coverage is not influenced by advertisers, sponsors, or political interests. Sponsored content is always clearly labelled and separated from our reporting.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we correct it. Significant corrections are noted directly on the corrected article. If you believe a story contains an error, contact our newsroom using the details on our Contact Newsroom page.
Conflicts of Interest
Our journalists are expected to disclose any personal or financial interest that could affect their reporting, and to recuse themselves from stories where a genuine conflict exists.
